Sheri Hunter

Sheri Hunter is the author of Daring to Live which chronicles the sudden loss of her husband and how together with her girlfriends—they call themselves the Dare Divas—went on a soul quest to help Sheri heal. The four African American women skydived, cliff-jumped, drove Nascars, and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro among other hair-raising feats. An article Sheri wrote for National Geographic about this experience went virile and prompted a Midwest tour visiting Barnes and Nobles to speak about grief, healing, and adventurous feats to get out of one's comfort zone. As a journalist, Sheri contributes to TV News, Newspapers, and Magazines. Her story has been featured in Essence, Vanity Fair, Huff Post, and others. She has spoken at Ford Motors, Mercedes Benz, Ally, Essence Festival, and more. She speaks on topics such as Resilience, Powerful Self-Esteem, Living Large, and GOING HARD in every facet of life!
