Mike Wysocki

After 30+ years in industry, Wysocki published the six-time award-winning career readiness book, Careers By the People: Candid Career Advice from 101 Experienced Professionals, and has spoken to thousands of students and educators from Massachusetts to Maui.

As a first-generation, low-income student Wysocki didn’t prepare properly for the workforce so years later he decided to do some research and tell his story of what he should have done to prepare so the students do not make the same mistakes.

Wysocki focuses on soft/durable/professional/tactical skills, networking, LinkedIn, shadowing, part-time work and many faucets of preparing students for the workforce. At www.careersbythepeople.com, there is a 9-minute video of what he talks about at his workshops.
