Born out of jam sessions at The Ohio State University, Buckeye Funk is a high-energy funk, soul, disco, and pop band built to turn any campus event into a dance floor. Fronted by powerhouse female vocalists, the Columbus-based group brings the biggest feel-good hits of the 70s and 80s to life with tight harmonies, infectious grooves, and nonstop crowd energy.
Buckeye Funk can scale from a six-piece to a full nine-piece band, making the show adaptable for everything from intimate campus events to large outdoor concerts and festivals. Past highlights include ComFest, Delphos 4th of July, Strawberry Jam, Gateway Groove, and a residency at Summit Music Hall.
