Val Werner
Val Werner is a speaker and comedian. Her life is a story of failure, reinvention, success, and perseverance. Originally from Udorn Thani, Thailand, she spent her childhood as an army brat living around the world. After failing at college, Val joined a circus in Austria. Starting a family at 20, she and her husband struggled to support their family with multiple low wage jobs. They wanted more. Both went back to college, often bringing two toddlers to campus. At 28 years old, she started as an intern at a Fortune 500 company. Her hard work and curious mind led her to become a leader and a mentor. But after 15 years, she was inspired to change by COVID. Val quit her career to become a woodworker and a comedian.
