Richard Bowen is an obsessive joke writer and stand-up comedian living in Seattle. His ever-expanding arsenal of one-liners and a sharp, whimsical wit, has won over crowds in all 50 states.

Driven by a love for a challenge, Richard has performed in a staggering variety of settings—from the Comedy Store in Los Angeles and the streets of New York City, to elementary schools in Seattle and two Vermont State Prisons.

In 2018, he was crowned Laffy Taffy’s first-ever "Chief Laugh Officer" in a national clean comedy contest. He has also been a featured performer at Seattle's Bumbershoot, the Asheville Comedy Festival, the Alaska B4UDie Fest, and the Burbank Comedy Festival.
