Paul Miller of Flow Circus / Flop Games Experience is a nationally touring comedy juggler with credits including Disney Cruise Lines, off-Broadway, and the USO of NC. In 1999, he co-founded this organization with educator Dawn Daria to improve mental health and well-being through kinetic play. They have performed and presented to large companies, statewide organizations, and prominent college programs including Duke University’s DUWell Center, George Mason University’s Center for the Advancement of Well-being, and NC State Wood Wellness Village. In 2020, Paul developed The Flop Games Experience, a hybrid juggling show, audience workshop, and contest of skills. With action on stage and off, every participant leaves with a Flop Ball for continued practice and stress reduction after the event. After the performance/presentation, students will be able to: (1) use kinetic play breaks to reduce stress, (2) recognize failure as part of the learning process, and (3) practice a growth mindset.
