David Spitzfaden

Solo artist, power trio, or band!

David Spitzfaden, a talented singer-songwriter, and guitarist, performs a mix of blues rock, R&B, funk, jazz fusion, and pop—originals and covers. He has toured Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Canada, and China. He also played guitar on Lizzo’s holiday single “Someday at Christmas.” In 2020 he created The David Spitzfaden Trio with Baltazar Montoya and Riku Myllkoski. They met at Los Angeles College of Music and shared a devotion to excellent musicianship, strong work ethics, and complementary personalities. They’ve performed at Rainbow Bar and Grill, Whisky a Go Go, Hard Rock Café, NAMM, House of Blues, CA State University—Northridge, University of La Verne, Cal State LA, ENMU, University of WA (Bothell), University of ID (Moscow), Pacific University, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (AZ). In 2025 David expanded his trio into a 4-8 piece band.
