Panamanian Colombian duo Calle Sur (cuh-yeh SOOR) brings to life the rich diversity of Latin American music, challenges cultural preconceptions, and lifts spirits with the energy and beauty of its performances. Musicians Ed East (Panamanian) and Karin Stein (Colombian) take audiences of all ages on a multi faceted musical journey through many Latin cultures, relating their personal life stories as Latin Americans to the music they play. The duo tours nationwide and abroad, and offers workshops for all ages. Guaranteed fun for all!
Since Ed and Karin perform with the other two ensembles of our agency (Tropicante and Trio de Colores), more than one ensemble can be booked together for the same event at a combined discount. Ask us also about our bilingual workshops!
