Rod was born to a 15-year-old mother, struggled with his biological father’s death and watched his step-father physically abuse his mother. He and his mother escaped in the middle of the night at 7-years-old. This absence of an adult male influence had adverse effects on his emotions. Rod joined the Air Force where he was provided structure and discipline from honorable men of character. Rod retired after 29 years, representing USAF’s Top 1%.
An author/passionate advocate for mental/emotional wellness and mindset training, Rod encourages positive decision-making behaviors by addressing trauma/grief/rejection head on.
