Born and raised in Orlando, Kameron "Kamsoofunny" Patterson and after a year of college, Kam got serious about comedy in 2021, encouraged by his father’s “go big or go home” mentality. “I told my parents that I really want to do comedy, and my dad told me that I was going to have to put everything into it. He texted me a picture of Kat Williams, Richard Pryor, Martin Lawrence, Red Foxx, Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, and others all together in a barber shop and said, ‘You need to be in this picture.’”
Since then, there is barely a night that Kam isn’t on stage. Honing his set quickly, he graduated to a full show. Kam is naturally funny with a style that is appealing to all audiences, and one of his early accomplishments is that he has developed a dramatic arc to his set that provides structure without meddling with his unaffected, genuine energy.
