APCA Graphic Design Competition Graphic Design submissions will be accepted from Schools and Associates in the following categories:
Posters/Flyers:
This category includes poster or flyers only. There are no size or color limitations for this category.
Printed Advertising: This category includes banners, newspaper ads, table tents, postcards etc. This category DOES NOT include posters and flyers.
Theme Materials: This category includes any theme related designs. Examples include Homecoming, Family Festival, and Siblings Weekend. Your entry must include three separate pieces.
3-D Items: This category includes buttons, balloons, t-shirts, cups, mugs, umbrellas, magnets etc.
Web Pages: This category includes web page design.
Awards for Graphic Design will be presented in the following two categories:
- School submissions
- Associate submissions
Please Note: For the School submission category, awards will be given for both manually designed (hand drawn) and professionally designed, if applicable.
To Apply All graphic design submissions will be accepted on site at the conference. Please bring all submissions to the registration area. All entries should be submitted as follows:
- All submissions MUST be clearly marked with category, contact person, name of institution or agency, and name of designer (if different from contact person).
- All printed materials should be mounted on black mat board no larger than 32"X40".
- Only one copy of each entry is needed.
- For banner entries, mounted photos on black mat are acceptable. Please include dimensions of banner on reverse side.
- For web page submissions, please include the web site address and a laser printed hard copy of opening page and two specific site links.
Important Things To Know: All entries must be clearly marked with contact name, institution/agency name, designers name, and category. Limit 2 per category. All entries for the Graphic
Design Competition will be on display in the Conference meeting area. Award winners will be announced at the last Dinner Showcase. All materials will become
the property of APCA and will be discarded after the conference unless they specifically requested to be returned.
